Tommy rebounded well today from a long post operation recovery. So much so his care was transferred from the surgical team to the oncology team. A very big step in the overall process. He had his first solid food today, a happy meal from "Old McDonald's", compliments of Kevin Preston, E-21, who I bumped into in the food court. Thanks Kev!

Although we do not have the analysis back from the lab in Chicago, the Children's oncology team had 2 separate pathologists analyze the biopsies and found no evidence of anaplasia (the characteristic which identifies an unfavorable Wilms tumor).
